‘Dublin is the ideal city to discover on foot – varied, interesting and rich in history, but compact enough to get to know in a short space of time.
Ronan has a wealth of knowledge about his patch and we got the feeling he could have spoken confidently for hours about any of his chosen stop-off points.’

Six of us booked a private tour. We were late showing up, but Ronan waited.
He is very knowledgable; good story telling; interesting. He always asked if we had questions and was anxious to answer anything we had. He encouraged discussion as a way to focus on what were participants’ interest.
We were met by the tour guide who took us on a very informative and factual tour of Dublin. Hitting all the main spots – Spire, GPO, Joyce, Liffey, Grafton St and gave better history than what I read in a guidebook.
A very well thought out route, from what I was told by other Dubliners.
Could ask questions easily and the tour guide was very inviting.
A good tour overall!
Our tour guide Ronan gave an insightful and fun tour and was always quick with a joke or amusing story. The tour was great because it covered mostly everything we wanted to see while in Dublin. I loved the literature and history aspect of the tour most! great way to spend couple of hours.
We were to be in Dublin for only one day which was normally a day off for the tour. But after contacting Ronan, he offered to give us a tour anyway. Ronan was a great guide as he took us around the Dublin area pointing out historical, literary, and music related sights. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about all 3 topics. We learned a lot about the city and the country’s history in those 2 short hours.
We started at the James Joyce statue and went to the Spire and GPO before heading to Trinity College, the Oscar Wilde home and ending up at the Dublin Castle. Along the way, he pointed out sites that were noted in Ulysses as well.
